The garden

Our garden is about 1.100 m2 and  30 years old. The last 10 years we have re-laid the garden, but in a way so  the old trees and shrubs are retained, and  now makes the  frames and shelter for the established beds and plants. Stone is an important  element in our garden, at first because we like stone, but also because a lot of plants like to grow upwards or in the nearness of stone.

We are plant collectors, with a lot of different plants in the garden, stretch from the small Saxifragas to big trees. Some plants are rare and some are ordinary. But it's the rare that have our special interest.
The garden contains borders for plants of woodland, rock garden, water and ordinary soil.
The plants we especially like is the woodlands, but we are interested in almost all rare plants.
Each year we make a lot of plants from cuttings, from dividing and from seed. We get seed from different societies and nurseries in Denmark and foreign countries.
Besides that we every year import a lot of plants from different countries in Europe and Asia.
All that leads to a garden where we each year have something new and exciting to look at.

T
he plants which have our special interest is from the genus Hepatica, Arisaema, Anemone, Anemonella, Cypripedium and other hardy orchids, Dysosma, Fritillaria, Helleborus, Lilium, Meconopsis, Nomocharis, Omphalogramma, Paris, Trillium etc.

We would like to exchange plants, bulbs and seeds of almost all rare plants.
If you want to exchange seeds please let us know before October the 1.

Below you se some photos from our garden.
