Aesculus hippocastanum 'Monstrosa' er en mutation fra den almindelige hestekastanie. Dette eksemplar er 10 år gammelt og ca. 130cm højt.
Den er smukkest om vinteren, hvor de hanekamlignende grene træder tydeligt frem.

'Monstrosa' is a mutation of the big well-known Aesculus hippocastanum.
This is about 10 years old and 130 cm in height.
It is most beautiful in winter where you se the cockscomb-looking branch very clearly.
